J.K. Perry, Executive Director comes to TV 5 after a brief hiatus working in media. He moved to the valley three years ago to take a position with the Vail Daily, where he covered several beats, including cops, courts, Minturn, Red Cliff and the ski industry.

He attended the University of Iowa, reporting and editing for The Daily Iowan, the campus newspaper. In college he also interned with the Cedar Rapids Gazette where he wrote about public safety. This Chicago native spends his free time dirtbiking, snowboarding, fly fishing and reading.

Nate Purcell, Production Manager is a professional videographer, editor, film maker, director of athlete interviews and producer who specializes in action sports (ski mountaineering), outdoor documentaries, ENG, web/TV commercials and government broadcast video productions. Nate has gained over 12 years of experience in the video production industry from starting his own ski film documentary productions to broadcasting live government meetings.

Holly Kay Trickel, Video Trainer is owner of the video company Sapphire Productions. She earned her Bachelor degree in broadcast news and production from the University of Colorado in 2003. She has worked with numerous media outlets producing, shooting, editing and doing on-air work. She has met incredible people along the way, including some of the best skiers and snowboarders in the world. Holly spends her free time riding the aspen glades of Beaver Creek, CO. In the summer, if she's not hiking or camping in Colorado, she's in search of a great beach town or the next big adventure.
